The Garmin GI 275 IVSI STC replaces the outdated TCAS II IVA-81A/D IVSI for increased reliability, cost savings, and weight reduction. The upgrade, which takes 1-2 days, retains the TCAS II processor and offers future feature enhancements.
As older IVSI units become outdated due to rising repair costs and diminishing reliability, the SEA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the GI 275 IVSI offers a modern solution. This upgrade introduces a lighter, more efficient, and brighter display that enhances cockpit functionality. To simplify installation, an adapter plate and a pre-built wiring harness will be provided, allowing for fast and easy upgrades in the field.
