In 2016, AIR TEAM s.r.o. was approved for funding for the project:
- Project Name: Avionics Development Center
- Registration Number: CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/15_002/0000027
This project was financed under the Operational Program for Business and Innovation for Competitiveness, POTENTIAL subprogram, with the goal of expanding the existing development center for ultralight aircraft with additional development capacities focused on avionics development for standard aircraft in the General Aviation category. The center serves as a hub for the development and testing of new generations of avionics for various types of small transport aircraft.
The development center allows for the creation of custom avionics for specific aircraft generations and models. Subsequently, in cooperation with aviation maintenance services, the center supports the production and installation of avionics in aircraft.
The expected outcome of the project is a modern development center, enabling flexible, market-responsive avionics development, including hardware components, installation into different aircraft types, and software development.

Training Center of AIR TEAM
In 2017, AIR TEAM s.r.o. was approved for funding for the project:
- Project Name: Training Center of AIR TEAM
- Registration Number: CZ.01.2.07/0.0/0.0/16_048/0009326
This project is funded by the Operational Program for Business and Innovation for Competitiveness, TRAINING CENTERS subprogram, and its goal is to establish a training center for the implementation of educational activities by the applicant. The training provided in the newly created facilities will focus on theoretical and practical education in the field of aviation, aircraft avionics, aircraft servicing and maintenance, and more. The project fulfills the objective of the call to support the development of infrastructure for education and human resource development in the business sector, thereby improving the quality of education facilities.
This training center will reflect current industry trends and enable the teaching of new technologies, while also facilitating the practice of everyday skills for pilots and maintenance staff. Additionally, the training center is expected to provide comprehensive training for new employees—graduates—who need to acquire fundamental technological procedures before entering the industry.
As a result of the project, we expect to increase the technical level of trained personnel, expand their ability to use new progressive technologies, and enhance the team's overall ability to respond to customer needs, both in terms of offered technologies and supplier requirements, especially for non-standard and one-time orders, which are gradually increasing in proportion to ongoing and long-term orders.
A total of four classrooms will be built and equipped—two practical and two theoretical. These classrooms will be equipped with training avionics systems and the necessary IT equipment, which will be used for practical training in operation and maintenance. In addition, presentation technology and computers will be installed. The first phase will involve construction modifications and building development, followed by the procurement of technology (standard machines and simulators), computing and presentation equipment, and other necessary facilities.

Development Center for Advanced Aviation ISR Technologies
In 2021, AIR TEAM s.r.o. was approved for funding for the project:
- Project Name: Development Center for Advanced Aviation ISR Technologies
- Project Registration Number: CZ.01.1.02/0.0/0.0/20_338/0024231
The project is financed under the Operational Program for Business and Innovation for Competitiveness (OP PIK), Potential VII Program. Its goal is to expand the existing development centers of AIR TEAM and establish a new Development Center for Advanced Aviation ISR Technologies.
This development center will focus on the research and development of universal, multi-purpose, and multifunctional autonomous IP (Internet Protocol) pods utilizing ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) technology, i.e., an optical and sensor head and a data transmission system, which will be integrated into two categories of aviation platforms (GA and UL/ELSA).
IP ISR Pods will be designed not only for wireless bidirectional IP transmission of any sensor data (the type of sensor data depends on the installed sensor) between ground and air but also as an airborne relay point for tactical IP MANET (Mobile Ad-Hoc Network) data and voice communication.
This system will provide a solution to the commonly problematic bidirectional (ground-to-air and air-to-ground) IP connection for the transparent transmission of any information (in the form of IP packets or IP streams) over long distances, particularly during aerial operations over extensive areas. It will also enable wireless video transmission over greater distances to a ground station that will subsequently process the data, as well as image streaming capabilities.
The production of IP ISR Pod prototypes, manufacturing of the verification series, and subsequent standard production of IP ISR Pods will take place in cooperation with AIR TEAM Service, s.r.o.
